Petersfield Voluntary Care Group (PVCG)

Providing transport for those people who are unable to use public transport

We are part of the Good Neighbours’ Network (GNN), who help voluntary care groups throughout Hampshire.  For more information about GNN, please click on the link below.

We provide transport for those people who are unable to use public transport, for whatever reason.  Our drivers provide transport to hospital, doctors and other local health appointments, as well as helping relatives visit someone in a care home or hospital and shopping for the housebound.

We are governed by a constitution and, because the safety and well-being of our clients and drivers is paramount, we have adopted a number of policies which help to guide us in this aim.

To comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), we have a Data Protection Policy and a Privacy Statement, which is really a summary of the Data Protection Policy.  To view our Data Protection Policy and our Privacy Statement, please click on the links below.

Our drivers are unpaid volunteers, but they do get their expenses reimbursed, so we do ask for a donation towards costs.  For further information about becoming a volunteer driver, please click on the link below.

If you would like more information about arranging transport, or about becoming a volunteer driver, please contact PVCG via Winton House, 18 High Street Petersfield GU32 3JL or by phone on 01730 266046.  Office hours are 10 - 4 Mondays to Fridays.
