Salary £12,000 - £14,000 (£15/hour)
The Winton House Centre is a Petersfield based charity, using its historic building on the High Street to support other charities and to provide services to the community.
The post is part time (18 hours a week, with occasional out of hours attendance). The holder will be expected to manage the general operation of the charity, recruiting and leading a team of volunteers in providing services and information to the public, and overseeing the operation of the Pop In Tea Room. They will also be expected to support an active body of Trustees, by undertaking additional assignments approved by the Board of Trustees.
The manager will be involved in planning and coordinating fund raising events and regular activities, liaising with other charities and will be encouraged to expand and develop ways in which Winton House can further serve the people of Petersfield. The manager will be expected to coordinate their working hours and annual leave with those of the other WHC staff to ensure, as far as possible, there is staff cover at all times when the Centre is open.
The post will suit a friendly person with drive and enthusiasm. The successful applicant is expected to live within the town, or within 10 miles of Petersfield.
