AGM 19 January 2012, 00.00 Sheridan Rocher New at WH
Our AGM was held on 17th January in St Peter's Church Hall. It was very well attended with a buffet spread provided by the trustees. After the formal AGM a very interesting talk was given by David Jeffrey about the history of Winton House over the last few centuries, followed by Joyce Perry, our President who brought us up date to present time. Over 30 years ago Joyce helped acquire Winton House to run the Winton House Centre and has been passionately involved since.

Art in the Tea Room

We are delighted to have Jennifer Butcher displaying her artwork in the Pop-In. She creates it in her home village of Swanmore and works mainly in acrylics but occasionally uses watercolours. Her inspiration largely comes from landscapes with an emphasis on light, colour and atmosphere. Painting has always been a passion of hers, colour has played an important role in her life.

Winton House Centre

Support

Winton House Centre is an independent registered charity. We are based in the centre of Petersfield on the High Street with the aim of supporting the local community.

At the Pop-In Tea Room we provide a welcoming and affordable place for you to relax and meet friends. Our volunteers are so friendly and will make you feel at home.

We have an information desk with details about resources and services in and around Petersfield which are particularly useful for older people. In addition, you can book transport here to take you to GP & hospital appointments and find out about local Age Concern services.

We have a beautiful garden with a seating area.

The rooms and garden are for hire at very reasonable rates for groups, businesses, private parties etc. We have wheelchairs, office equipment and a desk space for hire with WiFi in our office.
